BROWN PUMICE stone “AKKO DAYTONA”
In the Akko Scissors line, the pemicide stones have been selected to meet all the practical needs of the groomers for Stripping. Indicated in particular for the selective removal of undercoat and woolly secondary hair, typical of Spaniel and breeds with similar cloaks. Also suitable for finishing hard and rough hairs to perfect the wooly covering hair.
In fact, only hard-grainted (or "coarse" pumices) are offered, since soft-grained (or "fine") ones have a very strong tendency to crumble during use, excessively dirtying the dog's hair. The Akko Scissors pumice, in fact, are all characterized by hardness, which minimizes the crumbling of the stones, thus producing few residues on the hair, easily eliminated with a quick passage of the blower at the end of the Stripping session.
The stones proposed in our catalog are diversified by porosity (the most porous are more suitable for abundant coats and hard hairs, while the less porous are more suitable for finishing), by their shape (which can be further modeled to adapt to the operator's hand) and by the color that distinguishes them. The Akko Scissors range is composed of 3 types of pimice stones:
BROWN PUMICE: voluminous stone, irregularly shaped, quite porous.
GREY PUMICE: fairly small stone of regular shape, not very porous.
BLACK PUMICE: small and regular-shaped stone, of little porous consistency.
