Dematting Slicker Brush by Akko Brush #1, with rigid teeth for larger and matted knots

The SLICKER “AKKO BRUSH #1″ is designed to tackle even the most stubborn and deep-seated  knots, easily penetrating long, thick and woolly coats. Thanks to its short, rigid and widely spaced pins, this tool allows for effective and targeted detangling, ideal for knots that are difficult to untangle with traditional slickers.

Main features:
- Rigid pins mounted on a compact pad, designed to ‘hook’ the knot with precision.
- Ultra-lightweight ergonomic handle, designed to minimise hand and wrist fatigue during use.

Specific technique: not to be used like a traditional slicker. It should be used by tapping lightly on the knot to lift it, without dragging or forcing the hair, thus avoiding any harmful pulling.

Ideal as a first step to open the most tangled knots, before finishing with the “AKKO BRUSH #2”.

When to use it:

The “AKKO BRUSH #1” SLICKER is ideal for preliminary work on very knotted coats, where it is necessary to lift the knot without stressing the skin or damaging the hair. Correct use allows for effective detangling, respecting the structure of the coat and preparing it for finishing with other tools from the Akko line.
Important:
The handle of the slicker is made of plastic and, although lightweight and easy to handle, does not have the structural strength of a wooden handle. For this reason, accidental impacts (e.g. knocking it on the grooming table or contact with other tools) may damage or break it.
The company does not guarantee replacement of the product in the event of breakage of the handle.
