The“AKKO BRUSH #2” Slicker is an essential tool in grooming salons, designed for daily coat management and for quick, effective detangling of light to moderate knots. Suitable for all medium to long-haired breeds (not recommended for short coats), it is ideal for maintaining a tangle-free coat, preventing new knots from forming, and completing the detangling process started with the Akko Brush #1 slicker.

How to use:
- Identify the natural direction of hair growth.
- Select the section of hair to be treated, placing the free hand at the top edge of the area to gently stretch the skin upwards. This ensures a safer, painless operation for the animal, reducing the risk of irritation or injury.
- Rest the brushing pad at the base of the hair section, hooking the hair with the pins on the lower part near the handle.
- Slightly lift the elbow to raise the brushing pad off the skin, thus lifting the hooked hair.
- Perform a full rotation of the slicker’s head, using its curvature and the calibrated rigidity of the pins to effectively open the knot.
